Game ON!

We put Luke down for his morning nap yesterday (2/24) and Eric took a glance at him in the monitor... and all of a sudden said, "Luke's standing!!!!". I didn't really believe it and we both looked again, straining to see in the fuzzy monitor in the dark room... and low and behold, Luke man WAS standing. He looked surprised at himself. It took him a few times of climbing up, getting mad and crying, falling down, getting mad and crying until he finally went to sleep.

All I can say now is, GAME ON! He's an old pro already.

He's currently standing in his crib, screaming at the top of his lungs, protesting his afternoon nap. Looks like we'll both need a lot more coffee and Elmo in the coming days.

To end this on a positive note, Luke slept through the night last night (from 9:30-6:45). First time, ever.  Thank you, thank you, thank you baby boy. Mommy feels like a new woman.
