Close to Heaven???

I have a confession. I HATE coconut (yes, hate is a strong word...). Ask my mom, she'll confirm my adversity to coconut.

However...... when I joined Eric's family, I learned about the famous coconut bon-bon's made by my mother-in-law, Lynn. I was afraid, seriously, afraid to try them. Remember, I HATE coconut. When Eric finally convinced me to try the little treats, I feel in love. I mean, seriously these bon-bon's are amazing, melt in your mouth, goodness. As we don't get home too often, Lynn will often send these to us in the mail. After a long week, I came home last night to this......

Eric's brother Jeff was in town and hasn't been to DC since he was a youngin'. So of course we had to take him down the National Mall to see the action... did I say action??? As soon as we walked up to the Mall we noticed thousands of folks, then heard a voice on the loud speaker... who knew that was had stumbled upon a HUGE rally this weekend on the mall (complete with Jesse Jackson)!? Classic.
